We thank God for the conference this month. Truly, we felt God’s presence powerfully. The theme of this conference was about Jehovah’s Witnesses and Adventists; we spoke about their heresies and the biblical response to these teachings.

We were surprised that most of the pastors knew nothing about Jehovah’s Witnesses and Adventists, and some even believed they were Christians.

When we discussed how Jehovah’s Witnesses and Adventists do not believe in Hell and eternal torment, and we proved these truths from the Word of God, we spent time in prayer with them to ensure they had accepted the Lord Jesus as the Savior of their lives.

We held a debate among the pastors to help them in expressing themselves and speaking with others to share the Gospel message, so that if someone from the Jehovah’s Witnesses or any other religion asks them about Christ not being God, they can respond.

We encouraged the pastors to teach their families and neighbours to protect them from these toxic ideas presented by these heretics. We must also know our Bible and have certainty in what we believe. One pastor from Congo has already begun teaching his church what he learned at the conference.

The Lord opened a door with some women who want to know God, and Abir has started discipling them in a public place. The meeting will be held every Friday.

We were shocked when someone told us a day ago that he used to attend a church in a town called Musanze, where they taught that Jesus Christ was just normal person. In another place, they teach that Jesus Christ will not return until we are all wealthy. When we hear such teaching, we realize completely that what God has placed in our hearts—to teach church leaders and pastors the Word of God—is the true need of this country.

Many may consider Rwanda a Christian country where there is no need to send missionaries. Yet, this is the "Christian" country. The question that constantly goes through my mind is: Do we spread the Gospel message to collect numbers? Or do we spread the Gospel to save the world and save people from Hell?

Prayer Requests:

In truth, we have a very urgent and important prayer request: that God sends support for the ministry. The work here is vast and the need for the Word of God is great, but we cannot move through every open door before us due to a lack of funds. Therefore, we pray that God sends people who want to support the ministry monthly, even with small amounts, so that we can move into other open doors. Many churches have asked us to come and teach them and explain salvation and the Word of God, but we always postpone until God sends the funds for these opportunities.
