Worship time at the end of training

In this training session with these pastors, we discussed a crucial topic that is the foundation of our Christian faith: the inerrancy of Scripture. We wanted to address this due to the spread of many heresies (such as Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons) who rely on their own specific books. How can the local church in Rwanda distinguish the difference without understanding this fundamental basis and knowing the truth about the Holy Bible?

Many questions were raised that piqued the pastors' interest, especially when we discussed prophecy in the New Testament and what it truly is. This is relevant because many religious leaders here falsely claim that God has given them a special prophecy for specific individuals, and when this "prophecy" is inevitably negative, they demand money in exchange for prayers to lift the curse.

Throughout the training, we continually pointed to the verse in 2 Timothy 2:2 and asked them to begin searching for faithful individuals and teaching them the Word of God through small groups or within their churches. The Lord truly encouraged our hearts when we saw some of them send pictures of their small groups already in action.

Prayer Requests

1. We need prayer for these pastors, that God would enable them to bear fruit in their country and villages, both inside and outside their churches. We believe their impact will be greater than ours among their own people.

2. We need prayer for the financial provision of this ministry, as we cannot continue the service without material support.

3. We need prayer that God would grant us wisdom in dealing with these pastors so that we can be a good example to them.

4. We need God's help and grace as a family to complete our mission here in Rwanda.

5. We need God's grace in preparing the biblical materials we present in the training, as we are preparing these materials for the first time and in the English language, which is a demanding task. But God always gives us the grace to do His work.
